25 Years of Working with Young People
Hounslow Youth Counselling Service is a free confidential service for all young people living, working or studying in the London Borough of Hounslow. We offer one-to-one counselling for young people aged from 11 to 25 inclusive. We welcome young people from all sections of the community and we do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, race, religion.
Hounslow Youth Counselling Service made a guest appearance on Radio 1 - The Aled Sunday Surgery - promoting Youth Counselling to the thousands of listeners of this very informative show. Here Adele, the producer and Aled working hard behind the scenes.

Aled and his team give some great advice and raise the real issues facing young people in the UK today.
Mike Lawley, Counselling Manager at HYCS, with Aled and Aaron Balick , a member of the team.  It can be diffuicult for young people in some parts of the country to access support for mental health issues. Young Minds, Youth Access and Radio 1 highlight these difficulties and signpost young people to the necessary services as well as campaign for increased funding.

We are a confidential service and work within BACP guidelines to maintain appropriate confidentiality in the best interests of our clients.
We are organisational members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within the ethical framework for good practice
