This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced counselling professional to take a key leadership role in supporting and developing HYCS Counselling Services for young people aged 11–25 across the London Borough of Hounslow.
The post holder will provide leadership, management of counsellor leads, act as
clinical lead and safeguard lead and contribute to the ongoing development and quality assurance of youth counselling.
We are looking for someone who has:
A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification counselling experience
Experience working within youth counselling services
Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. BACP)
Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment skills
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership abilities
Accredited or actively working towards accreditation
This role also includes: delivery of counselling sessions at the centre, active
participation in service development and senior management meetings, and
recruitment and training responsibilities
